How to Delete Your CrushOn AI Account: Step-by-Step
If you want to close your CrushOn AI account, there are two parts: cancelling your subscription (if you have one) and deleting the account itself. This guide walks through both.
Before You Start: Check Your Subscription
If you have a paid plan, you need to cancel it separately before or alongside deleting your account. Deleting the account does not automatically stop your subscription billing.
To check: Look at your account settings or your email for subscription confirmation messages. If you are on the free tier, skip to the account deletion steps below.
Part 1: Cancel Your Subscription
How you cancel depends on how you subscribed.
If you subscribed through the CrushOn AI website:
- Log in to crushon.ai
- Click your profile icon → Account Settings
- Find the Subscription section
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm the cancellation
- You should see the subscription status change to something like "Active until [date]"
If you subscribed through Google Play (Android):
- Open Google Play Store
- Tap your profile picture in the top right
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find CrushOn AI in the list
- Tap it → tap Cancel subscription
- Follow the confirmation steps
If you subscribed through the App Store (iPhone/iPad):
- Go to iPhone Settings
- Tap your name (Apple ID) at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find CrushOn AI
- Tap Cancel Subscription
After cancelling: you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. You will not receive a refund for that period.
Part 2: Delete Your Account
Once your subscription is cancelled (or if you were on the free tier):
On the website:
- Log in to crushon.ai
- Click your profile icon in the top right corner
- Click Account Settings
- Scroll down to the bottom of the settings page
- Find and click Delete Account
- Read the confirmation — it tells you what will be deleted
- Enter your password when prompted
- Confirm
On the Android app:
- Open the app
- Tap your profile icon
- Tap Settings
- Scroll to the bottom to find Delete Account
- Follow the confirmation steps
If you cannot find the Delete Account option:
Contact support at info@crushon.ai from the email address on your account. Tell them you want to delete your account. They will process it.
What Happens After You Delete
Your account is removed, including login credentials and conversation history.
Your private characters are deleted. If you created characters set to Private or Unlisted, they are deleted with your account.
Your public characters may stay in the library. If you published characters for the community, they may remain in the library even after your account is gone. If you want them removed, delete them from the character creator before you delete your account.
Your coin balance is forfeited. Any coins you had are gone — they cannot be refunded.
Processing time: Account deletion typically completes within 24-72 hours. You may receive an email confirmation when done.
If You Are Not Sure About Deleting
If you just want to stop being charged but might want to come back later:
- Cancel your subscription (stops billing)
- Leave the account active
- Your account drops to the free tier when the paid period ends
- You can resubscribe anytime
Your conversation history and character library are preserved even on the free tier. You only lose them if you fully delete the account.
