CrushOn AI Not Working: What to Check and What to Do
If CrushOn AI is not working for you, this guide walks through the most common problems and their fixes in plain terms. Start with the first section — it solves many issues.
Check These Three Things First
Before anything else:
1. How many messages do you have left?
The free tier gives you 50 messages per day. If your counter is at zero, you cannot send more until it resets tomorrow (24 hours after your first message today). Check your message count in account settings or the interface counter.
2. Try logging out and back in.
Close the app or browser tab completely. Reopen it, log in again, and try. This fixes a surprising number of problems — the session can expire or get stuck in an error state.
3. Is there a platform outage?
Check Twitter @CrushonAI. CrushOn AI's team posts server status updates there when there are known issues. If an outage is happening, no amount of troubleshooting on your end will help — just wait for it to resolve.
If these three checks do not solve it, find your specific problem below.
Messages Are Not Sending
If you have messages remaining and you have logged out and back in, but messages are still not sending:
Try a different browser. If you are using Chrome, try Edge or Firefox. Browser extensions can sometimes interfere with how the chat interface works. Testing a different browser rules this out quickly.
Try at a different time. The platform gets busiest in the evening US time (roughly 6pm-11pm Eastern). During these hours, server congestion can cause send failures. If you try again in the morning, it usually works fine.
Try the web version if you are on the mobile app. Open crushon.ai in your phone's browser. Sometimes the web version performs better than the app during busy periods.
The "Image Not Found" Error
This error is very common and almost always means the same thing: the image was generated but the delivery failed. It is a server issue, not a problem with what you typed.
How to fix it:
- Wait 5 to 10 minutes
- Try scrolling up and down in the conversation — the image sometimes appears when you scroll
- Refresh the page
- Generate the image again
The error happens most often in the evening when many users are active. Morning generation is consistently more reliable.
Cannot Log In
Forgot your password: Click "Forgot password" on the login screen. Enter your email. A reset link arrives within a few minutes (check spam if you do not see it).
Using the wrong login method: If you originally created your account with Google, use the "Continue with Google" button — not an email/password combination. The two login methods are separate.
Wrong email address: Make sure you are entering the exact email you used when you signed up.
Access blocked in your region: Some countries have restrictions on adult websites. If the site does not load at all, a VPN (a service that lets you appear to be in a different country) will allow access. CrushOn AI works normally when used with a VPN.
The App Crashes When You Open It
Update the app. Many crash-on-launch issues are fixed in newer versions. Update through Google Play, or download the current version directly from crushon.ai if you are not using Play Store.
Reinstall. If updating does not fix it: uninstall the app, restart your phone, then install it again.
For iPhone users: If the CrushOn AI app is not available in your App Store (Apple removes it from some regional stores), use crushon.ai in Safari on your iPhone instead. The website has all the same features.
Everything Is Running Slowly
Slow response times are usually caused by the platform being busy. Evening US hours are the peak time. If the platform is slow, the most effective fix is to use it at a different time — morning and early afternoon are significantly faster.
If slowness happens regardless of time: clear your browser's cache (in browser settings, clear cached images and files), or clear the app's cache (on Android, Settings → Apps → CrushOn AI → Storage → Clear cache).

Visit CrushOn AIA Character Is Behaving Strangely
If a character is suddenly acting nothing like how they usually do, it is almost never a platform bug. The most common causes:
The conversation is very long. AI models have a limit to how much context they can hold. In a very long session, the character can lose track of their earlier instructions. Starting a fresh conversation is the fix.
The character's creator updated it. Public characters can be edited by whoever made them. If you are chatting with a character you did not create and it changed, the creator may have modified the personality.
Model change. If you switched to a different AI model recently, the new model may interpret the character's instructions differently.

Frequently Asked Questions
Check Twitter @CrushonAI for server status. The most common causes are server outages during peak hours and message limit resets. Try logging out and back in, and wait 10-15 minutes during busy evening hours.
Check your remaining message count first (free tier stops at 50/day). If the count is fine, log out and back in to refresh your session. If it still does not work, server congestion during peak hours may be the cause — try again in the morning.
The image was created but the delivery to your screen failed due to server load. Wait 5-10 minutes and generate again. Morning hours are more reliable for image generation.
Click "Forgot password" on the login screen, enter your email, and follow the link in the reset email. Check your spam folder if the email does not arrive within a few minutes.
Check Twitter @CrushonAI for current server status announcements. If no outage is posted, the issue is likely session-related or peak-hour congestion rather than a full outage.
